Children, Adolescents, Youth & Adults
South Australia – Statewide
Telehealth SA Statewide
Confidentially connect with an experienced, down-to-earth Clinical Psychologist from the comfort of your own home, school, or preferred private setting via secure web-based, face-to-face telehealth consultations (using video consultation software with purpose-built features for your healthcare) – supported by Medicare for all Australians.
Therapy Made Easy
Telehealth (provided via video link) removes geographical barriers, saving travel time & costs, reducing time spent out of work, school or away from family (no traffic or waiting rooms), reducing engagement & continuity barriers including anxiety, interstate travel, residential shifts, mobility/health issues, childcare & privacy related concerns, such as for those living &/or working in small communities.
Walk & Talk Therapy
A hybrid model of both telehealth & in-person therapy via outreach is offered to clients who can benefit from such a supportive therapeutic approach – away from the limitations of the therapy couch! Pre-existing clients typically residing in the Eastern, North-Eastern & Northern areas of Adelaide may be supported via outreach. Learn more below.
Socially Isolated & Withdrawn
Telehealth is well suited to clients who might find it challenging to attend a clinic in-person. Working towards a hybrid model of both telehealth & in-person (outreach) sessions, or towards telehealth support taken outside, can be particularly beneficial for this client cohort who often benefit from a more behavioural, exposure-based, supportive approach.
Rural & Remote SA
Offering a confidential & accessible telehealth service to clients in rural, regional & remote SA & to those residing or working in small communities (understandably seeking privacy). Still I Rise Psychology® provides convenient, evidence-based support to those who may not have had access to such professional, confidential services.
Evidence-Based & Clinically Effective
Comprehensive research reviews (meta-analyses) for over a decade, have highlighted the clinical effectiveness & advantages of psychological assessments & therapy via face-to-face telehealth, for children through to adults, across a wide-range of client presentations.
Supporting SA Referrers
Aside from self, parent & school-referrals, referrals are welcome from private & public sector professionals, GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians & self-managed NDIS clients.
Single-Incident & Complex Trauma
Research supports Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) via telehealth/video-link as a safe & effective trauma therapy. Bilateral Stimulation Technology is offered from the comfort of home.
Pre-Teens/Teens & Youth
Supporting young people in SA who may be showing signs of anxiety, depression, social difficulties or withdrawal, & significant mood/behaviour changes through evidence-based, attachment & trauma-informed therapy, in collaboration with family members, relevant professionals & schools as requested.
Convenient Clinical Psychology SA Statewide
Still I Rise Psychology® provides evidence-based therapy to clients across Adelaide and rural, regional and remote areas of South Australia, solely via telehealth (video-link) or through a combination of both telehealth and in-person, Walk & Talk Therapy/a mobile outreach service.

Children & Adolescents
The younger years can be some of the most exhilarating, but yet challenging. Adolescence in particular is a time of significant emotional, social, psychological and physical changes, which along with environmental factors, can lead to a range of mental health challenges. Young people can benefit significantly from a professional relationship, outside of their social circle of family and friends. This support can have helpful ripple effects throughout both adolescence and adulthood, providing a buffer against socio-emotional challenges, unhelpful risk-taking and educational difficulties.
Clinical Psychologist and mother, Kerry (owner and operator of Still I Rise Psychology), has a clinical interest and knack for working with young people and has extensive experience helping teens, youth and their families, including as part of South Australia’s former statewide Adolescent Outreach Service (Adolescent Complex Care Unit ), within community Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services, and a not-for-profit street outreach service. Being employed within the public sector for well over a decade working with children, adolescents and their families, as well as within schools and private practice, has served to reinforce Kerry’s passion and skill-set for helping young people and their families.

In private practice, Kerry has worked with clients of all ages. Having also worked in the child and youth sector for well over a decade, Kerry has a vast experience supporting families and has a respectful, collaborative, genuinely compassionate and down-to-earth approach that will help you to feel comfortable within a non-judgmental and safe therapeutic space.

This effective service delivery model may be offered if such a supportive, behavioural/exposure-based approach is deemed important in meeting your, or your child’s, therapeutic needs.
Personalised, in-person professional support within populated locations such as shops, libraries or parks can be instrumental for clients suffering from concerns such as Anxiety (e.g. Social or Generalised Anxiety, Panic & Agoraphobia), Depressive Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders (e.g. Complex Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress or Adjustment Disorder). Therapy can be provided during outings, where you or your child can benefit from professional support in-person or via telehealth, to help reach your goals.
